Dating fails and deadline wins

I was going to blog about my most recent foray into the dating scene, but a quick check of my archive showed me that while it has been a year or so since I last went down this path, the journey hasn't changed much. And so, instead of a full post, I'll stick to a synopsis and links to previous dating posts for your entertainment. *grin*

July 2015
April 2015 - Part 2
April 2015 - Part 1
December 2015 - Dear Santa - Part 2
December 2013 - Dear Santa - Part 1

Girl contacts guy on dating site. Emailing goes well. They meet. Chemistry, yay!  And then, after seeing each other every weekend for more than two months, guy vanishes. No emails. No contact. POOF. Was he abducted by aliens? Hit by a bus? According to his dating profile, neither. He's still actively looking for his soulmate, he simply didn't feel the need to let me know it wasn't me.

More fodder for my future romance series all about online dating gone awry. It's not just life experience, it's research!  *grins again*

I really do need to get working on that series...

2015's dating policy - Renewed for another year

I am currently working on Wild Card, book #3 in The Drift series. I'm on track to have it finished ahead of schedule,  which means you can expect to see pre-order links out in the not so distant future, and a release date in February 2017. The characters in this book have taken on a life of their own, and I cannot wait to share their story with you.

Want a peek at what Wild Card is about? Here's the blurb.

The game of love can change in a heartbeat when fate deals you a wild card.

Lieksa Kiv saw firsthand what the corporations did to their cyborg soldiers during the Resource Wars.  Her job: repair their damaged cybernetic components and send them back into battle. When a stolen kiss reveals the truth about her charges, Lieksa sacrifices everything to protect the cyborgs’ secret, including a future with the men she’s fallen for.

Mack Darian and Dash Scudo aren’t soldiers anymore. Inspired by the kindness of the woman who saved their lives and touched their hearts, they are defenders, instead. As Corporate Security, they’re dedicated to protecting the citizens of The Drift from all threats, including each other.

When these three lives reconnect, the flames of passion burn white hot. But before they can hope for a future together, they must contend with old secrets and present-day challenges threatening to tear their world apart.
